On a YT station called "The RcSaylors" shows a few videos of their Cajun Commander.
The got some great video from a GoPro on it.
They also ran it in the snow!
One of their videos, they launched the CC by skimming across grass then into the lake.

Yeah thanks, I watched their vids and some others on youtube before purchasing. I pretty much do that with any RC I pick up to get an idea of issues that need to be addressed ahead of time and recommended hop ups, parts availability, etc.
Part of the reason I picked it up was for winter running in the snow and it looks like from most of the videos I watched it runs okay on short grass as well.
Haven't had a chance to get it out for its maiden voyage yet but looking forward to it....
Yeah, they got me into RC, they are just having a good time.
You can't trust the corporate-Hollywood videos by the mfgs and the ultra-serious hobbyists are too full of themselves.
You getting an action figure for the CC?
I'd even consider some FPV for it!
Spidey is the perfect size! And my fav comic book hero! Sat AM cartoons, kids don't know what those are nowadays.Yep, I prefer the small independent, non-sponsored reviews and videos as well.
Yes, going to pick up a figure for it.
Just tossed one of my kids old action figures on it to get an idea of scale. 9" Spidey! It's actually pretty close, I'm thinking an 8" figure will work perfect, just got to track some down now. No GI Joe's around in the stores in my area anymore. Will just need to keep an eye out for one.
Think I'm going to lose the front seat as well, looks better with just the single seat in my opinion.
FPV is something I haven't really gotten into to but I bet it would be pretty cool on this boat! Might have to check into it at some point.
