I was taught to use my left hand for both- spinning way before casting. I have heard MY way is much more uncommon

One of my coworkers pointed this out to me the other day lol. I’m right handed, but I cast with the rod in my right hand, then switch hands to reel with my right.

I was taught that way, my friend I've had for many years had left handed reels. It makes it a lot faster than switching in your palm.

A few magnetic screw trays. Supposedly a very strong magnet, we'll see.

Those mag trays come in very handy. I have a couple small ones. I was in AutoZone last week & saw that 3 pack like that, even though I have some I almost picked em up! Those 6x8 good deal!!!
