Vorteks Boost motor upgrade!!!!!

Hey guys and this is my official first post here so be gentle lol .
Ok so after a 15/16 year break from the RC hobby I've come back to it and my brilliant wife has just purchased and preorderd the brand new Arrma Vorteks Boost in red for me ( lucky boy eh ) .
As I used to race 1/10th touring cars for years this is all new to me with the use of lipo and brushless motors .
So with the way I am I fully intend to upgrade as much as I can , can anyone please point me in the right direction to what brushless motor and esc they would recommend, as I've been looking at this

Also would I need to change anything else .

For the moment I'm going to be using Zee 5200mah 100c 2s lipos , but fully intend to go 3s as well .

Trust me when I tell you this but you are better off just buying the 3s Vortex than the Boost. Surpass escs are notorious for letting out the magic smoke stay far far away from them stick with either Castle, Hobbywing or one of the Hobbywing rebrands.

But if you are adamant about the Boost I would go with the Hobbywing Max10 SCT 3200KV combo https://www.hobbywingdirect.com/products/ezrun-max10-sct-combo

Or get a BLX100 and Spektrum 3660 3200kv motor from Jenny's Rc

So I to am old and am coming back into RC cars after about 25 years. So I to have just purchased the vorteks and looking to upgrade eventually. The said upgrades above look good but my questions is, does the radio that came with my vorteks work with that new upgrade motor and ESC above or how to you make your controller work with the upgrades?

Hey man you caught me awake it's late here in the UK and I'm having a beer and chill after rebuilding my front shocks and changing my spur gear and pinion lol .
Welcome back to the hobby also I'm the same just come back after 16 years away .

Ok so what I did is a bit of research on what I could use the stock transmitter / radio and I bought a the spectrum SLR 300 receiver to use with the trasmitter I paid £20 GBP or that would be $22.83 if your from the USA .
Works great so far no issues at all and I would definitely recommend upgrading the servo as well like I did .
It's a great car and you should be really happy with your purchase .
If you want guides with it as I'm upgrading I'll be using this post to show what I did also .
Also after tonight I would 100% say check your shocks , watched a few videos and they all recommend filling the to 14mm full . Got to say does feel alot better and will stop having to run spacers onthe top of the shocks and pre loading them .
