Speaking of off topic ….

So my 6th grade son went on a field trip to DC last week
Super good kid here …
Straight A student, plays “school sponsored” sports (ie) basketball, baseball…
He’s even been in “spell bowl” for several years !
He’s a fine young man and I’m not just saying that cause he’s mine .
He really is !
So while in DC he finds a new hoody
And on that hoody it says ….

I HOT
MOMS

KID was tickled to death him and a couple other students bought the hoodies cause it makes them laugh !
So he wears the hoodie to school yesterday
You know for laughter and because it’s cold and free speech and it’s really not a big deal ?!!
Just like any other day the kids saw the hoodie in the morning got some laughs out of it and it was forgotten….
Until after lunch and Mrs Baeu seen my very timid easy to make cry and or intimidate 11 yr old son
As he was walking to class in the hallway this @“&&))$&&@ calls my son over and starts complaining about his hoodie….
She tells him

“I don't LIKE IT TURN IT INSIDE OUT”

My son not wanting any beef just complied…
What he should have done was politely said I need to call my DAD !!!!!

So ya ima be going into school this AM and have a lil meeting with the principal and this prude teacher
I’m absolutely making my son wear the hoodie to school and she will apologize to my son for forcing him to turn his cloths inside out simply because “she doesn’t like it” !
These public schools are &ucked rite up when someone tells you you can’t wear something not because it’s against the rules but because this pride doesn’t like it ..
Needless to say I’m fuggin pissed off about it

Nothing wrong with the hoodie.

Bet you that the teacher was older aged and found it remembered her of what she's not anymore (or ever)...
So it touched a nerve.

It's okay.
No need to get so worked up over her feeling that way and her asking your son to flip it inside-out.

She did not take it off your son nor have him remove the article of clothing completely. Or to have him sent home to change it out to something else ,during school hour.

Yes, she was being a Karen and too overly sensitive.. over some words&symbol on a hoodie.

Teachers theses days don't get much respect.. But they are expected to not only teach with a smile And give their lives to protect our kids - if there's a shooter who may come into school.

That's a heavy burden and lot of stress to carry around each day.


Yes, you should go to that school and talk to her.
With your son by your side.
Show him how to communicate with others ,let it be his peers or adults in a positive way -In control of yourself and respect for teachers.

It'll make a lasting impression for him and on that teacher.
She will have absolutely nothing to argue against afterwards... Not towards your son nor you his father.

The boy went all day in school with 4 previous teachers and no problems about hoody …
She sees him walking in hallway and calls him over to chew him out .

“interruption in education”
It’s a “I don’t like it turn it inside out”
Just because teacher doesn’t like it !
She’s offended by

It’s a public school and there’s a dress code
But even the dress code is limited in what teacher can force my son to remove clothing for ….

Tired of splitting wood for the day so gonna make a couple more cuts for the 6x6 beams on front of cabin !!!
There are sooooooo many walnut trees here I decided to use walnut !!
I’m using the slabs to side one of the natural gas well junction deals , to make it look “log cabin ish “
Nothing goes to waste!
If I could think of something to use the sawdust for I would

Saw dust it's a good fire starter...you could put it in little glass bottles and sell them as a survival tool..people can add it to their survival kit.
