Thanks bud they look beefier I like them .Those are the Team Durango, basically Arrma before it was called Arrma
I would guess those are the DEX8 shocks, which is what the Typhon was called when it was still a racing car.
These are pretty close to the stock shocks if i'm honest, apart from the color, and the fact that the cap have a bleeding screw. most of the parts are exactly the same as the current shocks

This. The Team Durango shocks just like the V1-V2 Arrma shocks and only have 3.5mm shock shafts. I would not use them bashing. They are less beefy, the shaft is thinner than what is used now.
Anyway if you want look for the ones for the Truggy, which was called DEX8T
I don’t own any I saw a pic here and I wanted to know because I liked them like you the have them under team Durango on eBay if you want them someone told their weaker them stock ones as far as the shock rod.i have a dex8! Would you be willing to sell these shocks? Super hard to find original parts!
If you want something that looks similar, you can de-anodize your shocks. As you can see by the pictures in the linked thread, they start to look very similar once you get rid of the red color. https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/wanting-to-de-anodize-my-shocks.42909/page-2 There are also several videos on YouTube. Thanks bud they look beefier I like them .
I would look at the Arrma Typhon 6s shocks as replacements.i have a dex8! Would you be willing to sell these shocks? Super hard to find original parts!
or more precisely, the TLR Typhon, as the v5 Typhon shocks are too shortI would look at the Arrma Typhon 6s shocks as replacements.
Mmmmmm tekno shocks… almost worth buying the kit for just a spare set of shocksThis. The Team Durango shocks just like the V1-V2 Arrma shocks and only have 3.5mm shock shafts. I would not use them bashing.
If you have your heart set on buying new shocks your best bet is full option Tekno shocks from the MT410 but you are looking at about $200 once everything is said and done.

You will also need 4 M3 lock nuts 4 M4 lock nuts and a 4mm drill bit to drill out the shock towers.
Those TLR shocks are probably the plushest shocks you can get right now. LOVING them!!! But they're hella expensive. The markup on them is crazy even if you go with Jenny's. She's charging around around 60 bucks for a set of 2 front or rear.or more precisely, the TLR Typhon, as the v5 Typhon shocks are too short
They are? I thought they were similar in size?or more precisely, the TLR Typhon, as the v5 Typhon shocks are too short
Yes, they are much longer, by 6mm I think. event though the TLR towers are higher, still I've got a lot more droop compared to the v5They are? I thought they were similar in size?
Oh wow I did not realize that.Yes, they are much longer, by 6mm I think. event though the TLR towers are higher, still I've got a lot more droop compared to the v5
Do you have a link I’m looking for kexb 1/8Thank you all for the input. I have really considered the proline set since they are closest to length and seem to have a quality build. If anyone thinks otherwise I'm open to suggestions! Fronts are 100mm and rears are 120mm expanded. Not building this to really be a basher, more of a shelf queen and track killer. I'll post pics if anyone is interested after my build! Thank you everyone
Can I use those on kexb 1/8 scale? Those TLR shocks are probably the plushest shocks you can get right now. LOVING them!!! But they're hella expensive. The markup on them is crazy even if you go with Jenny's. She's charging around around 60 bucks for a set of 2 front or rear.
So tlr shocks for the kraton would work ?Go with Mojo/Typhon shocks.
When the Delrin TLR Pistons and Delrin bottom cartridge and seals become available from Arrma in 5 years ROFLMAO upgrade your shocks with them. They will become as plush as the TLR T shocks. You will need all the bottom cartridge parts together, and they will fit any of the 6s stocker shocks.
What I would do.
The Proline shocks will not work with an 1/8th scale vehicle. They are barely adequate for the 1/10th scale vehicles. And you can seriously buy 2-3 sets of Arrma takeoff shocks for about the same price as a set of the Prolines they are way overpriced for what they are.Thank you all for the input. I’m new so where can I get these teknos and which ones pleaseThe Proline shocks will not work with an 1/8th scale vehicle. They are barely adequate for the 1/10th scale vehicles. No they are 1/10th scale shocks.
No they are too short.
Literally your best options for the Kraton 6s is either stock shocks or full option Teknos. The cheap Chinese shocks are cheap for a reason, no qc, their 5mm shafts bend easier than the stock 4mm, the rod ends break, they leak, they fall apart ect.
