you need to be set up with Rakuten, but yes, it does not affect or interfere with using coupons.

Rakuten works but you also need to get a minimum before they send you the money. By the time I use that it usually expires. It's no longer in my list of things I worry about, better deals through other means.

I just signed up for the Tower Hobbies Super Saver club and am now just noticing that so many of the listings have this statement below. So I can't apply the current April 15% off coupon to anything that I actually want to purchase.

Is this a relatively new development, or has this always been the case? And does Tower release different coupon codes that can be applied to these products?

It's always been the case.

Most of the name brand's don't allow tower coupons except during special sales. And yes, those types of sales do pop up from time to time. You'll see alot of chatter on this thread when they happen.

What about parts availability? Would you recommend getting a Senton 6S?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just noticed that the Senton 6S is 1/10th scale. For some reason I always thought it was 1/8th scale...

Many parts for the Senton 6s are common amongst other models. Though I believe that most unique parts are still available as well. Someone with more Senton 6s experience might know for sure.
