I have to admit, some of those beadlocks can test your patience.

Got the Ecto done for now. Decided to leave the spare tire off since it was 4 ounces. Put some aluminum traction boards on and made a tow rack with chain and hooks, under 2 ounces total. Not a bad look, but still want to add some light weathering on the chains and chassis with my Vallejo acrylics.

Got a shot of it pulling my wifes Defender 1/18. Thats the one with 64 tiny screws I put in the beadlocks!

My last 4 sets of aluminum beadlocks I have had my 11 year old kid install all of the 10,000 tiny screws on the outside ring

Between that and cutting grass I don’t know which one has been better

Consider it stuffed! Mini's aren't for the faint of heart when it comes to wrenching. fumble fingers and tiny screws can get the blood pressure up. But I love the dang things. Speaking of love, that is another killer photo!

Terrific, really love this rig!! Going to add some +8mm hex extensions for a little more width, other than that I think this rig is all set for what I want it to be able to do.

Got tired of not doing anything with my TRX4m because I'm too busy with my 1/10 scale crawlers, lol. Put together a "patio gauntlet" with landscaping stones and wow I love the new JConcepts Ruptures, super grippy tires! Pretty much got this thing right where I want it for now.

Ruptures are fantastic tires. Well done.

Back out on the trail today, enjoying a bit of sunshine with our Capra 2.2. I'm pleased with the engineering work done to improve the performance over the stock Capra, and after installing a new Holmes V3 Crawlmaster ESC, I'm ready to put the pencil down on this rig.

Anybody ever use traction compound on their crawler tires? Very common in offroad/onroad racing... basically softens up the rubber to increase traction. In all the YouTube videos I've watched, I've not once seen any mention of "saucing" the tires.
