That surprises me since the 5860 1070kv is almost the same size/kv as a HW 5687.the motor I put in there is a tp 5860 1070kv and I was worried the max 5 wouldn't handle it
Ahhh.. Nonsense. Just install the tires and zip tie that motor to the ESC. Now we have a party
No,but the torque is insane. Hard to see it aa much on off road gearing, but 8s geared for 150+ its insaneThat surprises me since the 5860 1070kv is almost the same size/kv as a HW 5687.
I know TP makes good motors, but is the power output really that much higher than a 5687 or 56113?
Nah they are very different sizes actually. The second number is not the length of the motor for TP but the stator? iirc. That motor is 58113 mm, similar to castle 2028.That surprises me since the 5860 1070kv is almost the same size/kv as a HW 5687.

Ah okay. I thought the TP 5660 and TP 5860 were the same length.Nah they are very different sizes actually. The second number is not the length of the motor for TP but the stator? iirc. That motor is 58113 mm, similar to castle 2028.
1st 2 numbers are diameter, last 2 are rotor length. Different can lengths on someAh okay. I thought the TP 5660 and TP 5860 were the same length.
Those two should be the same length, just not 60mm.Ah okay. I thought the TP 5660 and TP 5860 were the same length.
That’s what I thought, but they are very different lengths.
They very from 90mm-96mm iirc
No sir. The 5680 and 5860 have the same can size. The only difference is, the 5860 has a finned can (1mm fins for 2mm total diameter boost). Available KV ratings, et. etc. are all identical. The same goes for the 5690 and 5870.Ah okay. I thought the TP 5660 and TP 5860 were the same length.
that thing is nice!Popped a tire just now after some very pleasurable burnouts. Admittedly these shoes were in really really bad shape and maybe 20 years old. It made an actual pop/poof noise I got real scared first lol, oh sh*t the ESC popped.
