Big Rock Big Rock gear mesh problem

I'm decking out my BR for street duty with some 11's tires & car body. For the fun of it I want to try an 18 tooth pinion, but for the life of me I can't get the mesh right. (I think) I have the mount over as far as it will go, but with everything around the motor mount assembled, but not back in the vehicle, when I hit the throttle, I hear the whine, but nothing moves.

Reinspect ur mesh. What kind of motor mount u have. Any pic of ur mesh would be nice.

Yes indeed. Without the spur gear in, it spins just fine.

Maybe your motorplate is bent?

Well the gear mesh isn't the problem at all - when I screw on the back plastic cover, that binds the motor
