Ok, I'm still a noob and need some advice. I know NOTHING about GPS except that I likely need them for what I want to do. Almost impossible to find on Amazon or other hobby shops. The few I did find, where wrong sizes. Well, I have a chance for a set that we're mounted on a shelf queen and never used. Price is high but really cheaper than ordering on Ebay or from States. By time currency exchange and customs is factored in, 85 for 4 is cheap.
So, is there anyway to tell if I'm buying the real deal or another Amazon Chinesium knockoff? Markings?
Already worked out a meet for Saturday to look at and grab. Sharing a pic of the tires and how similar the Chinesium stuff is.....Any info will be appreciated.

Look at the tread pattern on the GRP's unless they are slicks which GRP makes as well, also I noticed and even email the manufacturer out of italy because there was a lot of excess glue where the rim meets the tire. Here's mine, they obviously have wear but again look at tread pattern, glue on edges and also if it has the sticker inside the rim. Also look at the branding on the tire itself shown in pics. Also haven't seen that I know of knock off GRP's but you never know🤷

To me, the GRPs look fairly different than all the other tires you showed. The treads are distinct and the GRPs are the only split 7-spoke wheel design.

I don't know about shipping to Canada, but:

Amain carries them here: https://www.amainhobbies.com/grp-gt...tires-black-2-s1-grpgtx01-s1/p944887?v=944888

Hobby Heroes carries them here: https://www.hobbyheroes.com/collections/grp-tyres

GoNitroHobbies carries them on Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw=grp+1/8&_ssn=gonitrohobbies&_armrs=1&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=grp+1/8&_sacat=0

There’re stickers on the inside showing the rubber hardness and the GRP logo, and the wall of the tire will show “GRP Tires” and “Produced in Italy”

Edit: @Edough13 beat me to it 😂

If this helps here is the GRP website
https://www.grpgandini.it/

I purchased a set of GRP- GTX01-S7 T01, I ordered the S7's because I wanted max tread life

On my S7's:
It says on the outside side wall twice each "PRODUCED IN ITALY" AND "GRPTYRES"
On the inside of the wheel it has a sticker that says "GRP S7"
The tire/wheel have 4 holes that go through the tire and wheel

Hope this helps

Thanks guys.. I will look for those. I'm told the tires are geniune GRP, not a scratch on them, and when I looked up online, the vent holes shown above one of the things to look for. That concerns me a bit because I'm not seeing(of what I can see) vent holes and stickers were taken off for looks. Tread "looks" similar. There faintly appears to be branding(supposed to be new, never saw a battery shoes for his SQ).

But the vent holes...should be able to see at least 1, right?
