What is that piston out of

It was out of a Top Fuel funny car at NHRA in Ennis, TX.
I asked for it after a race, the pit crew had stripped down the motor.. so I asked what they were going to do with those 'old' pistons..
the crew chief handled one to me.

Except for the 2 or 3 trucks I drive regularly the rest are stuffed in black plastic garbage bags and stored in the garage. I'm not a RC cat collector, at least I'm not admitting publicly.

It’s ok Steve. I’ve had RC cars that belonged in trash bags, too.

I’ve was wondering as well. I’ve never seen a piston with a dome like that. It’s causing a whole lot of cam timing, valve clearance issues, Sam Jackson saying, “squish? Well squish this, motherf’*”er!” and other issues to flood my brain!! Make it stop!
