I am assuming that you are looking at this new and not used, correct? I have one and I love it. Gets bogged down in taller grass a little bit but in shorter grass it's a blast. This would be my first Arrma and buggy..I had all Traxxas vehicles just want something different I can get it for $355..is that a good deal? You do realize that for $75 more you can buy a brand new one right? That price seems a little steep for a used one. This would be my first Arrma and buggy..I had all Traxxas vehicles just want something different I can get it for $355..is that a good deal? I am assuming that they are talking about new since they can get a Typhon for $355 or a Talion for $400 but I asked if they were looking at new or used as well but never got an answer. The best prices I can find for new is $370 for the Typhon and $420 for the Talion, so if they are new, I think they are getting a great deal. You

The $370 price I have listed is the better coupon from being a super saver member which costs $5 a year. That $5 saves an extra $20 on buying a car so I did it a long time ago and it has paid for itself many times over.Tower hobbies has the aarma typhon for 389.99 shipped. When you go to there web page on the top left there's a coupon . I just got mine 2 days ago awesome buggy

I have a typhon and my friend has the talion. In a typical yard their is no difference in speed through the grass. Both use upgraded tires. The Talion would be more capable in longer grass due to the larger tires. The Talion is also built on the longer chassis and has longer hubs making the wheels stick out further. Whether it is worth the extra money is really up to you and what you want to do with it.
Depending on what the height of the grass, yes it won't really make a difference. That's why I specified longer grass. Some people's "typical yard" is 4"-5" of grass while others are 2"-3". In the taller grass I notice that my Typhon slows down some while it doesn't affect my larger tired, higher ground clearance vehicles as much.I have a typhon and my friend has the talion. While we run ours on our local track i do notice the talion is more stable off bumps and turns. It Lacks the sharp steering of the typhon but that leaves the typhon prone to traction rolling at times. They run pretty pretty close to one another but if i could do it over again id buy the talionDepending on what the height of the grass, yes it won't really make a difference. They are both great vehicles. Just have different characteristics and I'm guessing the greater stability and less steering is from the longer hubs making it wider and the longer chassis increasing the wheelbase. I am more than happy with my Typhon but I also have 6, soon to be 7 rc cars so they each have their purposes. While we run ours on our local track i do notice the talion is more stable off bumps and turns. I always wanted an e-buggy and i don't regret my purchase. Its alot fun, fairly durable, and fast! I bought a 1/10 yeti for climbing slash backyard basher but i lost complete interest in it since i bought my typhon. It out performs it in many categories and i never wouldve thought it. So in the end im jealous you have nearly 7 rcs compared to my 2. I spent money before this hobby on drones and planes and way too many guns but i like alot of hobbies. This one fills the gap that ive been missing since i was a young kid. They are both great vehicles. I bought mine last month from a local shop for 429$ so 355$ sounds pretty good. This would be my first Arrma and buggy..I had all Traxxas vehicles just want something different I can get it for $355..is that a good deal?
