Looking for opinions on the Terraforms from Method RC and the Jconcepts Choppers for my K8S to run on hard packed clay. Anyone?
The Terraforms are belted, the Choppers are beadlocks, and non belted.. TBH, neither makes an ounce of difference to me, I mean, the belted tires are more appropriate for high speeds, but I won't be going over say 50-55MPH, the beadlocks are worthless since Jconcepts doesn't sell any of the 1/5 wheel components separately. Kinda silly to make a beadlock wheel/tire system and NOT sell any of the components?
Both are close enough in cost at $80 a pair for the Terraforms, and $90 a pair for the Choppers to say price is not going to make a difference.
I've heard stories of both suffering broken wheels before too.
Also, there's the Masher's from Proline that "could" be good on hard pack, IDK. Around the same price too last I looked.
