Is a start. Cheap. But a start. If it's for plastic RC stuff then maybe just get just what you need. I work in a machine shop. Greenfield brand is great. Or OSG brand. YM. Is mainly what I buy for the shop.
Thanks! Does anyone know what the thread gauge size is for Arrma threads? 0.7, 0.8??Like if you want to buy a set that has tap drills & taps, many MM sizes?

Thanks for all that!!0.7 is a M4
0.8 is a M5, if your talking about the pitch of the threads.
M3 is a 0.5. A M3 od is close to a tap drill size for a M4. Plastic is so soft, if it's stripped you can just tap a stripped M3 w a M4 tap w/o drilling 1st.
To determine tap drill size for any MM tap, subtract the pitch from the total diameter.
M4x0.7 . 4 minus 0.7 = 3.3.
M5x0.8 . 5 minus 0.8 = 4.2
So on & so forth.
Yes sir!Thanks for all that!!
Got it. Yes I have drilled & tapped some aluminum braces out from M3 to M4. You'll need a #30 drill bit & a M4 tap. That's some good info right there!!
In case you're wondering, I have a few rigs with a Hot Racing front chassis brace. I'm going to drill and tap the the part of the chassis brace that connects to the top plate to M4. One of the M3 screws snapped on me last week. My other rigs that have M2C and EXB chassis braces, which already have M4 threads are that much stronger.
