Been thinking about finally getting a rifle..

Daniel Defense & Wilson Combat are way out of my price range...



Any thoughts/opinions on ARs from either Palmetto SA or Diamondback?

There are roughly 3 manufacturer's of AR lowers in the states .
They are sold and branded to companies like DD , PSA bla bla bla bla bla i(nsert redundant AR COMPANY Nme )

If your looking for a reasonably priced quality AR
You’re still gonna spend a grand …
of the 7 million I’ve personally had I preferred the Colt 6920 LE model but they probably fetch pretty high coin bout now …
I would look at doublestar .
I’ve moved piles to departments over the years and they worked out fantabulous
Also look at LWRC gonna be more pricey but hey …. You got the money @Tex Koder

Build your own lower, they are pretty much all the same. Spend the money on the upper. Except for the trigger, that's where the good stuff is.

Keep in mind that ARs are like RCs. It's a platform that becomes your own. No matter what you get, you will probably want a different this or that. Then as you shoot it more your preferences will change to suit you. You will see A LOT of fads come and go. What's old is new an some stuff is just garbage. Run what you like and what works for you.

It's tempting but I don't by cheap parts (rails, optics, stocks, etc) from Amazon. Some of it is good but you just need one rail slightly off to make everything else goofy.

I can appreciate the concern, but it's impossible,this is a folding rifle not a folding stock. It's hard to see but the trigger is on the folded butt stock and is separated from the chamber. Notice the trigger is curved backwards.

Although they have another version with a folding stock, which is illegal in Comifornia because it would allow the user to spray bullets at a extraordinary speed and accuracy. With this version you don't even need to be in the same room. You just tell the rifle to go on a spree and it's done. Kidding of course.

Hell man all ya really need is that 1 fine blade. Maybe 2 if you do a fixed/folder combo like me everyday

My last acquisition was I got a plain Jane manix 2 to replace the m390 one I sold. Freaking love the manix 2 but not in m390. S30v? Good to go.

Don't get me wrong, I have a f-ton of knifes but they are mostly folders, I only have a few fixed blades. I like that manix 2, very nice looking. I've become quite fond of s30v, it's tough.

Not much that is noteworthy, I have Case and some Kershaw, a couple Gerber and a ton of lower end stuff I have recieved as presents, mostly 440 and Trusharp Surgical Steel. This thread is knife and gun porn, I'm lovin' it.
