Mojave What are the specific differences between the Mojave 6s V1 & V2 by sight??

Sure.
Keep in mind that the EXB Brand new out of the box was a slider.. NO electronics period.
So you had to buy and install your own PREFERRED gear..
Granted that's how most experienced RCers wanted it.

Compare Those Used EXBs (off Facepalm, Craigslist, eBay) that your seeing... (folks who may have installed Good equipment originally), BUT most likely have stripped them out and put in the most basic/rejected gear just to get them into driving condition ,so to able to pawn it off to some buyer...

So Don't just go by "what version" it is... You must REALLY look at what's there/installed NOW to judge IF it's worthy.

Makes a lot of sense and I will have to get some more specific pics off this guy to post here before I decide to drive up to where he is at.

Alright everyone here’s more photos of this used Mojave 6s v2 and a bashing battery that is an extra $75. What do y’all think of this cars condition?

One of his rear wheel definitely fell off. Road rash on the arm Inside the wheel. Only way he can domage that part of the arm is if the tire fell off. Make sure the wheel hexes are okay

@Surchaufeur Thank you for that insight, the 1 wheel did fall off from new tires being put on and not being properly tightened down. If the wheels and hexes are all good is this car worth $400 in its present condition?

@Tex Koder what do you think about this cars present condition in all the pics above?

I Agree with his assessment.
So you have to remove the wheel and make sure the hex inside the rim is not chewed up/rounded out...

Looking at all the deep curb rashes on the arms and bottom of chassis ,along with the cracked front bumper spring..
He's definitely driven it Hard.

So basically you're going to pay $400 for his Rough handling & neglect of this Mojave.

I would pass.

There are other Better condition Mojaves out there for $400 ,that I am sure.

@Tex Koder Down here I’ve seen worse condition Mojave’s starting at $500. This was listed at $550 and I got him down to $400 so I thought maybe it was worth it. Is there a better price I should try to shoot for ok this particular Mojave or do you have any leads on better off Mojave’s around this price?

You checked Craigslist, eBay, Facepalm Marketplace?

Yes, surprisingly nothing pops up for Arrma or Mojave other then an actual jeep on Craigslist, fb marketplace has maybe 4 Mojave’s in all of Florida, 1 exb beaten to hell, a version 1, this version 2 that your not approving of and another that is a Mojave Kraton mash up but looks messed up. eBay I’ve only found new ones at retail or higher priced or a few used ones with changed out parts but around $600 for those and I did see one used one for around $500 but shipping was $79 so at that price I’d just buy new but not really tryna go in at $629.99+ tax.

Well see the thing is..
He didn't SHOW any of the curb rash/damages/broken bits in any of the initial photos..
So you thought it was Nice and a sweet deal..

Now that you got to see What's what on the underside.. Well it's a different story.

So you'll have to wonder what else is he withholding.... Unless you can dig it out of him?
Burnt out diffs, bent driveshafts, faulty servo, wrecked ESC etc etc.. Who knows....

If he was upfront about the wear & tear BEFORE you had to go pulling teeth to see what's going on then I would probably be more accepting.
You know what I'm saying?

*********

Last thing you want is go have a Repeat of your Vorteks experience. Right?
Because I Am Not here to prevent you from getting a Mojave.

I want to make sure you don't get the wool pulled over your eyes..

I completely understand that and I get that it’s probably best to pass. Just sucks because I can’t seem to find any good deals on these anywhere but given what I went through already with the Vorteks I guess it would be best to pass on this then. Thank you very much for that perspective on it.

Just keep your eyes open..

Something Better usually Will pop up 👊

I think the only other car that really catches my eye for how id drive around would be the Talion 6s. That would be my 2nd option so I’m looking for one of those as well!!
