Now that the Vorteks has been out for a while - could anyone tell me what is the difference between this vehicle and other 3S (i.e. Granite)?

What has been removed? What new thing that has been added to it?

Thanks.

There is a pretty good discussion in the launch thread but basically it's this:
Shorter shock towers
Shorter shocks
Lower body mounts vs. Granite/Big Rock
Body/wing itself (obviously)
Comes with 18t pinion gear installed, and 20t in the box

But the biggest factor is the DX3 transmitter and receiver with servo (AVC). This means the vehicle has gyro stabilization and a better overall radio setup.

Just looked for it and found it, not sure how I missed it at the first place!

For others... it's at https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/arrma-vorteks-4x4-3s-blx-officially-announced.37525/

Sweet, thanks. The choice of pinion is a bonus!

I guess that explains the price increase then. But overall, it's looking like a decent truck then!

Thanks for this.
