So a few weeks ago I fried my whole system (it went swimming in a creek) so I upgraded to the Hobbywing Max6 and 1650kv combo. This system can easily run 8s without any issues so I figured why not? Problem is the stackable battery system makes them too high and the body won't fit on. So here is what I came up with, it ain't winning no beauty pageants that's for sure, but it works!

Little bit of cutting, drilling, and plastic fabrication. The blue stuff you see is gasket maker.

I just stack 2-4.0AH packs in the 6S tray, but that looks like a well balanced 20lb setup. Nice job

Thats what i was thinking, lower center of gravity and more spread out!

Not sure what body you run but a 3/4s receiver box with the servo mount cut off fits nicely up front on top of the steering plate area in my kraton

Looking good! Won't fit there for the big rock, we have the clipless body thing there
