Finished up my EBS fire team/big rock thing with the basher body on it I have to wait for the radio to come in to get the servo centered and attached for good and my m4x40 screw for the rear brace and it’ll be ready

The g2 hobbywing stuff is supposed to be more efficient and has a higher current rating so I’m thinking it’ll be even more fine at 20/50 than the g1’s and they take that without additional gearing

Supposed to be(as advertised).. most ppl do the same *without fans* with this system bcoz of heat dissipate effectiveness stated. But unfamiliar in my situation when the motor get hot (like super hot). Luckily never been thermal cut-off yet. no drivetrain bind so on, no full throttle at most time. Tried any heatsink on the market so far but doesn't effective as well to cooling the motor. last resort i put the fan directly blow the can. thats help a bit!!

What's your gearing? It may not be getting as hot as you think unless you hit it with a temp gun then. The new ones have a thermal at 170 from the factory if i remember right.

15/57 gearing. Honestly i wont go down my gearing. Its unsatisfy & feel dirty to me. oh.. btw I use the 80a esc to run the G3- 3665 2400kv. Looking foward to 140a to see the change. But heat does not concerned anymore since i put the fan directly.
