So I dove in deep and decided to build a pit trailer :ROFLMAO:

I'm starting with a Legend 7x19 FTV:

Some of the features:
  • Mini-split heating/cooling
  • TV
  • Sink/running water
  • Active cooler/freezer
  • Starlink Internet
  • 2500w 12V battery bank
  • 2300w generator
  • Rubber raised-coin flooring
  • LED lighting
  • Insulated walls/floor/ceiling

And here's the layout:

So far I have a large hole in my wallet and a pile of parts! Gonna rip down the walls and do wiring/insulation this week.

Most impressive!

I'm curious -
On the 2300W generator, is it a gas unit or the newer EcoFlow (or Anker) lipo types?

It's a gas generator for the big stuff like HVAC and battery charging, but I also have 2x 100ah LifePO4 batteries that will run pretty much everything else.

A few (necessary) things I see missing from your Features List are:
1. a couple of 100W Solar Panels. 😉
2. Two 10gallon propane tanks
3. Mini fridge
4. Portable grill/cooktop

..For those Extended off-grid RC excursions.

And, you got to keep your beers chilled & have something to fresh to grill to eat!

So you can Keep on Bashing!

I do have a toy hauler configuration planned. The three shelves on the left will be removable. The toy hauler configuration will be the last two shelves removed and replaced with a futon-like couch/bed setup that spans the width of the trailer.

Having removed the interior flashing, thus reaching the 1% completion mark, I deserve a beer(s). I already like this process.
