Without a doubt improved debris protection while also giving some more side impact rigidity.
Only downside appears to be if taking your motor In / Out frequently, clearance afforded might be a tad tight ?

In my case of having a V2 belly pan which has the long taper on rear section it was a perfect fit. V3 /4 & Exb I think are similar
As I recall seeing, V5 has the shorter faster taper rear section that would require some plastic trimming of the guards to match the different angle.

Got my upgrade parts today ... V5 Chassis and A-arms, Aluminum lower pivot blocks etc ... SO, needed to retrofit the Outcast Tall side guards
1/4" Carbide bit in the Die Grinder and @ 10 min per guard, we place a longer side channel right at the rear area. Done it attaches flush & clean.
