My outcast can easily do standing backflips but kraton can’t. Both 2.5 versions with 20M in center diff. Both with max8’s.
The outcast has a Hobbywing 4268 2500k with 15T pinion. The Kraton has a 4278 2250k. Tried with a 15t and 17t pinion.
Same 4s hoovo 6200 batteries I swapped back and forth. The outcast has stiffer shock springs that I moved to the Kraton, no difference
The Kraton can flip upside down but isn’t explosive enough to go all the way. I tried to up the punch - on 9 the batteries run out of steam and cog. On 7 no cogging but still no joy. The outcast is happy doing it at stock 5.
I know the Kraton weighs a bit more and is longer. Is that why, or is it the motor difference?
There’s a dude on YouTube that is doing backflips in a 6s Kraton with the max8/4278 combo but he was running 6s. That’s even more weight and length though. Does 2” more wheelbase really need 2 more s’s lol.
