Hey all,
If you need a new servo arm for your K4s v2.5, here is an easy and cheap solution.
If you need a new servo arm for your K4s v2.5, here is an easy and cheap solution.
- Get a Tra**as 2742X set (~5 eur).
- Get an M3 grub screw 10-12mm.
- Measure and cut two rod ends from the set so that together they are the same as the original servo arm.
- Connect the rod ends with the grub screw.
- Take the balls (not yours, but ones from the 2742X set) and Dremel or something.
- Remove the top and bottom material from the balls so that the height is around 4.90mm (this is the height of a new, original ball according to my measurements which may not be ideal). You might need to trim more, but make a test fit first (assemble the whole steering block).
- Experiment further to fit as needed.
