Arrma RC's
  1. Fireteam
  2. Kraton EXB
Hi everyone, today was my 2nd bashing with the fireteam, had lots of fun but i get lots of understeering both on asphalt and offroad.
What diff oil shall i run to increase my steering while on high speed?

The best servo saver/bellcrank made is the new Kraton EXB V2. I have them on all my 6s Arrmas now, it's a night and day difference from everything else out there. ARA340204.

I would address the servo saver before anything else. It comes too loose from the factory and kills the steering.

You can either stick washers in there or replace with this thing:

What about this? Im looking for something in Europe.

I am very surprised at how well the FT steers compared to my other 6S rigs. This is with the longer Kraton 6S axles for the wider stance and M2C 5mm hex extenders. It is still better than other rigs. However, I have addressed the servo with a better and stronger servo saver and overall steering slop.

Are you getting weak steering or "understeer". If you're truly experiencing understeer, and the truck is still tracking straight when the servo and tires turn, that's a different problem entirely than sloppy, weak, or slow steering.

If it's truly understeer, you're more having an issue with not enough traction on your driving surface, and changing out diff oils IMO won't make or break that difference. Otherwise, a better servo and modding the servo saver (or an aftermarket one) is what will fix slow/weak steering.

My servo is fine, actually very strong, im impressed with the servo. My issue is what you described above, true understeering.

The issue I found with understeer is the rear end is very heavy from the factory. Removing the handbrake assembly helped some, but I still added some body weights to the front.

Is this plastic or aluminum?
