Figured I'd finally check off the last thing on my list--Build Thread. Picked up a little 1/18th scale crawler. Hobby Plus T-Hunter. They sell it as a RTR or Builders Edition. I ordered the Builders Edition. A lot of the building was already done, sadly, so it's just a matter of attaching the components to the chassis. I'm still finishing the body, but here's what I have so far.

Finally had a chance to finish this up. Cab was supposed to be cherry red. but it turned out black cherry with black accents:rolleyes:. The cab and bed are supposed to be one piece, but I made it so the cab comes off separate by putting 3 long screws in the bed where it attaches to the cab. I enlarged the holes in the cab a little. Then I notched out the 2 holes in the front so they snap over the bumper mount. I also made a bracket to relocate the battery to lower the C.O.G.. Little thing crawls pretty good.

Yes, you can. But, you'll need to make your own adapter. It charges through the smaller one. The larger one plugs into the balance port/board. Forget the name of the plug. I soldered it to a Deans because I had a Deans plug for my charger. I snap a pic.

Looks great. Like the color. You must have been watching donaldsneffe? Believe that's where I saw those mods.
