I cannot fathom this out but it must be so simple.
I m building an old nitro car into electric as a project.
Short story is do l have to change my 20 year old receiver? I can't get the motor to run

Can you give some more details? What motor? What ESC are you using or planning on using? What radio system do you have in there now and or are planning on switching to?

Yup more detail needed. Please stick to one thread. Most likely you still have an old analog receiver which doesn't work well with modern digital systems but that's just a guess.
