Mojave Brass shim for diff?

Hi.

Will it be ok to use brass shim to shim sungears in exb diff? I'm able to make some at work in brass, but don't have steel shim in 0.1-0.2 sheets.

I think it's ok since it will be between sungear and round slip plate. So nothing will spin on the shim. Any thoughts?

IMO brass would be too soft for this application.
