I plan on doing this rebuild. Got the orings last week. It did take a month to get them tho.
I should start shipping o rings from Canada for you guys, our hardware stores all all open and you can buy them by the lb.

Can someone clarify this once and for all?
In the photo on the left are the stock O rings. On the right are O rings I have purchased based on the Information in this thread.
The large one is 10mm X 1mm. As you can see it's nowhere near the size of the stock one. With this size O ring oil comes out of the shock just by compressing it so it doesn't fit at all.
The small one is 2.6mm X 1.9mm. As you can see it's slightly larger than the stock O ring but according to the measurements it should be smaller than the stock one (??). I went to a store that specialises in O rings and seals. He said he has a whole range of O rings but does not know what size is "2.6mm x 7mm x 2.2mm". 2.6 X 1.9mm was the closest he had. As far as I can gather the stock O ring Arrma uses is non standard. The sizes quoted above don't make sense to me.

On a side note fiddlesticking Arrma...why do they put their customers through this poop.
Hey man, did these end up working for you? Looking to get a supply for my 2 Granites. Where those the 2.6x1.9? Thanks

The 10x1 mm large o rings go on the outside of the threaded part of the shock body the tiny ones go inside where the shaft inserts. I've had no leaks with one of the Traxxas blue o rings at the bottom position for the small ones, and another RC brand 10x1mm o rings for the outside body seal.

I have a question. So Arrma says the larger o-ring is a 8x1.5mm. When I look at my shocks (the stock ones that haven't been pulled apart) the o-ring sits completely inside the shock body when everything is tightened up. I went and bought some o-rings from the hardware store that are 5/16x1/16in which translates to almost the exact size. When I tried using one, I could not tighten the shock all the way, as it wanted to push out the o-ring. So I'm curious how the 10mm does? Can you seat the shock cartridge fully into the shock body without squeezing out the o-ring? I'm gonna attach a couple pics of what I mean, cause I know I'm terrible at explaining things.

The one on the left is stock, never disassembled. The right one has the 5/16x1/16in o-ring. You can see that if I tighten anymore, the o-ring will start poochin' out. I'm guessing your 10x1mm doesn't do this?

The #7 plumber o rings pop out like that. I've used them in a pinch, just snug it, let the ring seal, if it distorts from tightening too much then it will leak.
