Batteries: soft case vs hard case

After my son exploded a battery in the kitchen sink washing it with hot water, I'm skittish about taking a heat gun anywhere near one.

I’m guessing it’s the water that shorted it out.

Lipo gets hotter while running compared to the time and heat to shrink fhe rap. Don't shrink the tubing all at once. Do a little at a time take pauses. Just don't use hot water to do it small touch or heat gun
