If you’ve ran these tires I’m curious of the handling and longevity compared to stock

I used the silver hoons and have plenty of meat left after 4 months of good use but they are to heavy so I stopped using them.i noticed on my Big Papa xx long Rock that my temps shot up when using them.i use GRP and a few other wheels from duratrax and some other brands.alot lighter🤟😁👍

I had placed a set on towards the end of the summer but then it turned cooler (50 degrees) outside so they didn't grip as well.

Yeah I agree they don't like the cold weather.actually none of my on road tires like the cold.they don't get warm enough to get them sticky.and I don't get a flat contact surface ..I don't have any foams yet .I wounder if foams get effected by the cold .maybey someone with foam experience can chime in🤟😁👍

I know this thread is a little old, but I’m looking to drift my Limitless. Would the Silvers be good enough for this?

They're the harder compound, so I would think that would be a good starting point.

Silvers are a harder compound and will drift better than white. If you want hard compound tires for drifting that should last fairly long, get the GRP GTX03-XM7 tires. They are less expensive than Hoons, and they were recommended to me on this forum. I have a set of the GRPs for my Infraction 6s, but I'm waiting until the Hoons silver labels get worn to put the GRPs on.

Thank you for this! I’m going to give the silvers a shot.

I've run the white & gold on my Infraction 3s. The golds lasted one pack of street bashing on new asphalt surface. White does pretty well. Surprisingly, the stock Elevens are pretty good too after using other tires.
