Big Rock 14mm to 17mm Adaptor Kit - This Looks Really Simple as Typhon Parts on Backorder at Jenn's RC

I was looking to run 17mm wheels on my Big Rock. I was considering going the Typhon 3s swap with the Arrma parts but they are out of stock on Jenny's RC.

This setup looks like it could be pretty good and is priced right. I was looking for input if this should work? I saw many kits have an offset but this looks to not have an offset which I guess could be better? I am looking to do a speedrun series on YouTube using my Big Rock and want to run my 17mm foams and/or GRPs.

You could try using Traxxas 17mm hubs from a Summit, part number 5353x. Works just fine for the 3s trucks that have 14mm hex. I have it on my Senton, and several other users here have it on their trucks as well.

Wow, I have been obsessing about this for like 2 hours now and I somehow didn't come across this solution! That you! I figure it should be well made as it is Traxxas and so I feel comfortable with this option. Thanks again!

Converted my big rock to 17mm hex using the Traxxas hubs. Lots more tire options available

I've seen these adapters before, I believe I've seen @K-BASH mention them? I don't believe i've heard any complaints.

Actually on reinspection, I have these exact ones sitting in my ebay cart as a "future thing to buy". So yes, I'd get them.
