WD-40 is for cleaning your car, better used on plastics, if used on bearings dry them up and oil them.

But what about WD-40 SILICONE, it can be used as a dust repellent correct?

Haven't tried it but I don't use anything. Just a waste of whatever you apply imho. Just wash it off after and oil your bearings, good to go.

I've got a can of the silicone type spray. I've heard it's a dust repellent but actually it will accumulate dust if it's sprayed too thick & heavy. I've tried it on plastic parts. Spray very light dusting, & wipe off. The plastic will look 'newer' & the dust is easier to remove. Still accumulates dust, just easier to clean. I don't use it too much.

I'll say the WD-40 silicone spray works wonders on home door deadbolts and doorknobs. Spray it in the keyholes. Better than new.

I been using WD-40 silicone spray and the dry lube for years and it works for me. I have also used silicone tire shine for my plastic. Then wipe it off. Shurley no one thinks that WD40 is a lube for your bearings, it's just a tool to clean with. I have soaked bearing in Amsoil over night before. I do not think it helped much. I like Armor all as well and CLP.

wd40 has never ruined my bearings been using it for years as far as I no anyway

Like Amsoil, prolong, slick50 and many more out there, It's not the oil but an additive. Still I did not see an improvement in rolling resistance.
