Yea I've debated trying some of the taller fans when the rockets die out

Alli express $5 to $6 a piece. They have used and new. I've had the same 6 used for years. No problems at all. Some are run off the esc at 7.4 and some off a 3s lipo that powers the truck.

I'd definitely run off the esc. So far between the thermal pad, dual 30mm rockets on my 4s outcast and the dual 40mm rockets on my 6s kraton exb, they tend to stay pretty cool unless hammering on them in terrains I shouldn't lol

You run those rocket fans side by side or one on top of the other?

Side by side. I have since added mesh screen to the top of both of them to keep grass and junk out of the fans
