Xmaxx gearing

So I’m building a xmaxx 8s I got on a trade I rebuilt the whole drivetrain I’m putting a 1100kv HW motor in and for the time being I wanna use the stock vxl8s esc but in a few weeks I will be doing max5 what would the best gearing be for bashing I’m still kinda a noob when it comes to some stuff like gearing any advice would be appreciated thanks

Max5 won’t fit without somewhat weird modifications. My set up is a Max6 with a 1600KV motor.

Sell the stock ESC before you fry it.

I run 20/50 gears and it’s plenty fast for bashing

Yea I plan on buying a mount for it
Even the stock esc won’t fit without making a mount that sits on the chassis brace

The stock ESC and Max6, fit down on the floor of the chassis.

Not with a 1100kv hobbywing the motor sticks out too far same thing with the 800kv I have
