Update time!
The Typhon is now pretty much at 4s spec, so it was time for a 4s capable motor, a 3665 2600kv
Just before I installed the new motor, I had a bearing failure of the slipper clutch, with killed the bearing, spur and pinion.
As this Arrma spur was not completely round or the hole was not well centered, I had a tight and a loose spot in the mesh. To try something different I ordered a HR Racing spur gear. It is cheaper as well.
Qualify looks great and the mesh issue is gone. I have the same mesh all around the gear.
Back to the motor. Went from 14t to 17t pinion, that would end up with a bit lower top speed compared to the 3200kv, but I have the idea the difference is pretty significant, so I am not to sure if the 2600kv is accurate. Will work with it anyway, so soon I will gear up to 18t, maybe 19t.
Last item, fixed 2 wheel hexes with baking powder and superglue.
