Tired of the Arrma multi tool

So I was looking at different options getting the tires off easier without slipping off the nut, especially the HR rounded caps.
I took home different tools and this one was the easiest without slipping off, a small ratchet with the 17mm Hex deep socket, regular Hex cut, there is another socket with more teeth in it, I call it the star Hex but it doesn't grab the nut real good, the ratchet is a 3/8 drive and 4" long.

Yea I just got he HR's for the K8 EXB and was trying to fins a tough but gentle tool as not to scratch up my $30 lugs. Most everything on the K8 I already use 1/4 drive w/ 3/8 adaptor but there has to be a better way for the lugs. Wonder if one of those sockets to remove rounded bolts would work...

Good tools are key. Just get a good socket. China Freight won’t fit as well as snap on or Mac tools, tolerances are looser, hence marring up nuts and bolts. To put it in perspective that most of us can understand, look how much better MIP drivers fit vs cheap tools.

I use this one from Amazon. It doesn't damage the wheel nuts (including the HR wheel nuts), and it works well with the deep wheel nuts on the Pro-Line Raid wheels.

I tried a couple of different 17 mm tools before finding this one. It has a deeper reach so it works better with proline wheels. Been using it in a couple months and it’s not damaged the lugs at all.
