So after watching this video I have a question. So I have a little more experience with RC boats but not by much. LOL My question is , has anyone run 10s on the MM8X or 12S on the XLX2 ? After seeing the amp ratings of these 2 ESC's they should be able to handle 10s and 12s respectively. My Limitless is using 8S. Seems the Limitless should be able to handle a few 10s blasts.

My 1/8th scale Hydroplane uses a 240amp Swordfish ESC rated to handle 8s and 10's with a NEU 1527 1.5y 850kv motor. Both of my Cats use 2 motors each 2000kv with 120amp ESC's using 6s.

The MMX8S and XLX2 are clearly rated Only for 8S (33.6v Max.)
No getting around that.
Exceed that voltage, and well you are on your own.
A bricked ESC and fire at worst. At best the ESC wont turn on due to "overvolts". (Protection circuit) If you are lucky.
