Welcome to the forum. 150mph is a big number! A Castle motor and XLX2 on 8s will get you there. But it will take a lot of time & work.
Oh 2028 gets my vote. I run a hobby wing set up in my V2 Max5 G2 4990 1750 KV. I have no problem going over 110mph never really found a good enough road to really open it up.

The 1700kv 2028 is quite the beast, but honestly, I very much enjoyed the 1721 even on lower voltages. Got to around 130 on 3s and just under 140 on 4s. Personally I'd prefer the 1721 just for the kv that allows you to gear for lower voltage runs. They are a great way to get started. If you plan on 8s, I'd say run 4s parallel to get the car failed in. You may be very surprised by how fast 4s can be.

137 on 4s

128 on 3s

My car wasn't anywhere near as efficient as it is now. Could definitely beat both those speed now I believe.

So here's your hard evidence for the 1721 🤣🤣

Thank you for your time to respond. I am going to run 6s for a while, until i maximize that. I figure it should be at least a year.
