Good morning hope everyone’s doing good!

I have a couple rigs that are having some servo issues so I bought a few of the extra hard springs

I think I read somewhere you need a strong servo to use with these springs ...
Was wondering if the blue ds35kg servos would work

Thanks guys

35kg will be fine for a K6s.

The spring has no affect on the servo strength, different spring does not mean you need stronger servo. Servo only turns against the spring if the wheels have a lot of steering resistance like on tall grass.

I have the extra hard spring in my 6s rigs, but also have a few c-clip spacers. A few threads on here explain how to add the spacers to make it stiffer.

Thank you sir
Always appreciate your help!!
What @HZRDOS said above. If you are going through the effort of changing out the servo saver spring, then switch to a V3 adjustable hub so you don't need to deal with shims (AR340065: https://www.arrma-rc.com/part/AR340065).
Thanks

That was going to be my next question about the hub

I see Arrma has the older hub
and Hot Racing has the hub with grub screw

Anyone recommend one over the other

Placing the c-clips on your hub costs about $1.50, takes like 5 mins, and works great. Done it on (3) 6s cars, never had an issue.

I cant speak to the other hubs. BUT - more moving parts can mean more issues (like if for some reason the hub adjuster comes loose).

Thank you sir
I will look into it that.. e clips definitely seem easy and cheaper
I would like to do whichever is going the best long term!
