I painted my first RC body in years, and decided to go a bit ambitious and see how it turned out.
Tried a two-tone paint job on the JConcepts Finisher, doing a bunch of masking placement. My first time trying anything like this!
Midway through
Came out pretty good I think! It's not perfect, it has some bleed through, but I'm quite satisfied with my first ever effort doing something like this, it was a good learning experience.

However, I made a fatal error- I decided to back everything with white to make it pop a bit more, but I didn't have the patience to wait for shipping, so I just bought some Rustoleum 2x at the hardware store to back the lexan paint with.
After reinforcing with shoe goo + drywall tape and a few days of bashing, this is the result:

I now have two new bodies!
Should be recoverable with a fresh coat of (the proper) paint on the inside, and some new reinforcement.
Lesson learned!
