Hello - I'm installing an 800kv motor into my K8s and cooling solutions do not appear to be plentiful. I've thought briefly about the possibility of utilizing my 1250kv cooling setup, but I don't think that is realistic.

Your input is greatly appreciated - Thank you

Use a fan mount and fan. Don’t put a heat sink on it. Look at the Powerhobby PHmount04 …..works great. You can mount one or two fans on it.

Works great. Motor temps down by 40 degrees. Used bigger zipped to mount to motor. Using leopard 58mm motor. Fans are awesome also. Fan blades do break tho but so does every other fan I run also. Part of playing.

I’ve stopped running fan covers on my rigs with great success so far. It was an experiment and I’ll report that no debris gets caught between the blades and cover…because there is no cover….…my fans are lasting longer.
