Kraton Ok I'm 40.........but why?

If anyone has some story's I'd love to hear them because I can't be the only one..

I think most of whom you're talking about are crackheads, dope heads, losers, drunks and what not. You have to sift thru and find the good ones.......lol

Yea I've noticed.....but dang when I do a search for something and get almost a perfect match on what I was looking for then I play the video and start to wonder omg, is this how I look to others playing with rc cars! Lol no but really do I? Lmfao!

Yeah, I am +40yo, and I get looks when I am at the park rc'ing with my kids. But when they see the Kraton fly, they forget about me. =)

Those people have time on their hands and want an audience

Turning 40 in November...will RC all day with my 5 year old, and never get looks. Most people come up and want to know what we're using and where to buy them. So near as I can tell, I don't get any strange looks.

I'm turning 40. Soon. 3 boys. On a sabbatical from my career (by choice, ) that is coming to a close, and I've gotten really into RC - including some modding and coding. I've not made any videos, but I do make sure nobody has any confed flags or bongs in the background before letting the kids watch with me.

Truth is, hobbyists who want attention often (but DEFINITELY not always) have a certain desperation about them. The ones who want to celebrate the joy of their hobby and don't much care for production value can still be fantastic.

Also, watch on mute. When people don't ruin it by blabbing, they add horrible dubstep tracks.

Ah hearing you youngsters babbel.......

One of the best RC channels out there!

39 with 3 kids(well teenagers now) they go to the races with me and to the fly-ins(I fly planes too)

Son raced with me last time we went.

Hope l don't look like the guys on YouTube. I really enjoy the hobby and it's the cheapest one l have had so that's a plus(now that I'm a single dad of 3 teenagers)

I'm 51 and don't notice the looks I get because I'm always watching and smiling as my kraton flies thru the air. I do have different bodies that I run on my kraton and senton for different places that I run. If I go to a public park just to get out I put a cool body on that the kids like. I love watching their eyes light up and the smiles from ear to ear. Haven't made any videos yet but you can rest assure there won't be any bongs, alcoholic beverages or other damaging things in the back ground..........

I'm 50 also and love to run my car along with my 16 year old son. I think there is no age that people shouldn't enjoy what the love. I enjoy rebuilding the cars when I have time and money lol.

I like his channel just wish he did more than just run a short strip of track. If I had a track like that I'd be running the whole thing.......

Yeah... Probably just easier to film on a little bit of the track maybe?

I am 44 and have been addicted to rc since I got a Tamiya Wild Willy in 1984.
Most those guys you see don't know what they are doing anyways, and the more experience you get tweaking and repairing your cars the less videos you will be watching.
I leave my kids at home when I rc, they aren't allowed to play with my toys, lol.
Jang from URC used to make really good videos and Squirrel from, I can't remember, but they both quit making videos, Squirrel has lots of quality how to videos.
Rc is way better than watching sports or something lame like that on tv........

I've watched a lot of his videos. I like them a lot!
