Arrma RC's
  1. Granite
  2. Notorious
  3. Vorteks
I searched to no avail. Has anyone tried the Amazon quick release pins for keeping their body on?

I used the proline screw on one's and they would always come loose when I would bash. Obviously the tried and true body pins are the most reliable but they are a pain to get off with my fat fingers 😅

I think @LibertyMKiii uses these if memory serves…

Yep I have used these. The work with the Arrma 6s body mounts. The challenge is making a giant hole in your RC body.
The Only bodies I tried this with were Speed run bodies and sometimes the body angles don't work well with it.

Other than that I was pleased with these. They can also be painted to match the body.

Example of them painted Ferrari red.

They work well, but the ones you linked are huge. Get the 22mm ones instead, they’re far better suited to the task.

Wow that's cool. I may throw some of these on my Detta or Slashes. They seem easiest to use.

Edit: missing ball bearings was the problem. Once all reassembled it's been holding on ok.

Anyone have luck "fixing" these after they break? I've run it twice and each time a relatively mild crash has broken 6 (total) mounts; 2 of them the center part came out and was lost but the other 4 look and "pop" the same as working mounts but won't hold onto the post.

I'm thinking u might of lost a bearing or so because... if it's clicking the spring inside is still working but not enough bearings to lock the ball or round part of the post.

If u have an extra push button laying around...I would switch it out.

I have used the magnet style on my crawler and they work good. I never tried it on a basher but they do come in different strengths so could be worth a shot. Only thing is they do mess up the paint job.

Yup, lost bearing was it. Loctite drying and will give it another run this week!

I had one do that just from being dirty inside. I took it apart and painstakingly got it back together after cleaning, and it's good as new.

Silly me failed to use loctite on the nuts, so lost all 4 lower nuts and washers after just one practice session 🤦‍♂️. Amazingly the body stuck, even after a couple of dramatic action-movie tumbles. 😱

Replaced all 8 nuts and washers with flanged and serrated M6 x 1.0mm nuts, will also loctite for good measure.
