Paid 200 bones for her needed a little love but came with scorched inner fenders and side skirts as well as their titanium skids. Any recommendations on what I should do with it and upgrades? I have too much invested into the kraton speedrunner to wanna take its xlx2 out for the infraction, but I’m thinking the mmx8s that belonged to my off-road kraton might not be enough for the type of speed bashing I do. Have a baaaaaaad feeling my wallets gonna get light

First off that is a sweet deal.

I don't "think" you will get much from a bigger ESC with that motor? But I could be wrong.

Put the tower to tower brace back in. You can probably delete the down braces but the T2T is a bit more critical.
Go through the car make sure every thing is right and tight.

Other than that, send it.

Yeah I forgot to put it back in I haven’t ran it quite yet so no harm no foul.. and I’ve got plans for something big motor wise and kinda aiming for a bit of direction maybe as to 1/5 scale super low kv or something more like 1500-2000kv tp power or something. So indecisive

Thats a pretty sweet deal there man, congrats.

BTW, that is a wild freakin vendetta! 😁

Where are you from??
I just sold a green gmc Identical to the one in your avatar last yea in mid Illinois!

I'd painted the grill a fresh black and everything, that's crazy similar.

Go to M2c buy a couple sets of vipaz for when you wanna mess around. Don’t bother looking around I have tried all the other compounds and tires. They suck.. Find whatever tires you want for speed running. Find motor combo you want. The titanium skids for me sucked cuz the car is already so low and I end up ripping them out on uneven surfaces. FOR SURE invest in the long titanium screw kit from scorchedrc for the front end and buy an extra set. Fender liners are a must but you have that. Stay away from metal bumpers. Spend all the time dialing in the diff and shock oils as well as spring stiffness settings. It pays off big time with this car. Don’t be afraid of AVC dial it in perfect and you’ll love it. That is my infraction v2 hot tips lol. Just my opinion from my experience with the car. It’s been my lowest maintenance out of all my 6s rigs. Oh and buy the aluminum center diff and titanium upper shock post kit from scorched as well. I have purchased lots of other little things here and there but this my 2 cents.

I think an MMX8S would be plenty ESC for a street basher. It appears to already have a Max 6 combo in it?
It’s a mamba monster 2 esc as of now but it’s acting awful funny..

I’m from Oregon lol I’ve had the truck a few years now at this point, did a 6speed swap in it😉

The vendetta is an imposter! It’s a kraton 4s v2 chassis and suspension wearing the vendetta aero and body

Forgive my ignorance as I just purchased an infraction so I am reading up on the weak points of it. Which screw kit are you referring to on their site? I don't see an extra-long titanium screw kit listed. I see they offer hinge pins, pillow balls, front splitter screws, and shock tower stand-offs.

Why stay away from the aluminum bumpers? What about the carbon fibre ones, are they ok?

The aluminum center differential you are talking about is the motor mount, correct?

Center diff he’s referring to the actual diff case as they come plastic from the factory, the long screws are for the splitter as the short factory ones rip out, aluminum splitters bent and don’t bent back and carbon ones will splinter but would be better than metal but still plastic is probably best unless you’re trying to shave the most weight you possibly can

Thanks for clearing that up a bit.

Yeah, I don't care about weight savings. I just care about fixing the major flaws on the vehicle that stand out to make it a better vehicle. I do understand that changing certain components will then move that weak link from the upgraded one to something else in the vehicle. It is a neverending battle so I am choosing carefully what I upgrade on it.

Mine has been tough as nails so far and I’ve wrecked out doing >60 a few times now, major things I would say to watch are the diffs and hub bearings, and upgrade the hinge pins and braces as well as the front and rear chassis braces

Much appreciated info, my dude.

I did order the scorched RC parts fenders two days ago before getting my infraction. Looks like I need to make another order with them. :ROFLMAO:
