Use or not use?

Hello all,

I have got this 4s lipo, who has a "burned-out" deans connector...I suspect from a short on the ESC it was connected to...
Now the big question: Should I solder a new connector on it and use it, or should I bring it to the trash-department?...

If there is no swelling of the Lipo cells, solder a new plug. Cycle it a few times and watch the mah given during charge, watch the balance. IF it all checks out, no reason to trash it.

just be sure to do one lead at a time. Clip one, solder it, heat shrink, then do #2.
