70mph out of the box! Still with the 15t pinion, interesting. Kind of suppressed they kept the BLX185 - I though they would go with the BLX200 system. That makes me wonder what the real power difference is between the two?

For general backyard bashing...This one in October or the Kraton now?? What do you suggest?

For general bashing, I like the Kraton over the Talion. I had both for a while, and traded the Talion for a Typhon, still have the Kraton. :)

With that said, some of the upgrades would be nice to have. Stiffer servo mount, outcast battery tray. Also, by October, they bay be teasing the V3 Kraton, Dec release. LOL Then what you gonna do?
:D

I doubt it is lighter by much, maybe a few oz due to the shorter shock towers. I would expect the old shock bodies/pistons/lower eye / anything that touches the shock shaft will need to be replaced to use the new shocks. Considering the 'old' shocks are $85 a pair, but race-grade Tekno 'full option' truggy shocks are $95 retail / $45 from a chop shop, I don't see the new shocks as a upgrade path.

I don't dig the new color scheme though, the old one was cool and original, the new one is common, and probably harder to see...
I wish all RTR came with at least the body unpainted.

I'll say its to fit the steering servo the other way....
Noticed the manual says typhon and senton shocks getting plastic caps etc... While the others keep the alloy bits.

Interesting that the video was removed.. Maybe posted a little too early? At least this confirms that there WILL be new 2018 models across the line. I think Arrma is trying to sell the old stock before they announce anything.
