Haha - definitely not perfect, but here she is.Put some paint and slap that thing on there pronto
It's like all the other Proline bodies (pretty stout). The body post line really well on the body. I think that on a fresh body if the wheel wells are not trimmed all the way, maybe leave a 1/2" lip it would look really at home on the outcast. How thick is the body? Does it feel durable?
How do you like the Trenchers, I'm guessing those are 40 series? So I still haven't run it, but man... I'm a big fan of it! Also - again - big fan of the stock body raised up as high as it'll go. Quite the little monster
Wish I took a pic of the stock body raised... Too lazy as I just put the pins in this one... Lol.
Also wish I had a pic with better lighting!
Those are 40 series, and I love them! I trimmed the front stock bumper a hair so they wouldn't rub. Pretty sure they'll end up on my incoming Big Rock though in the end. We'll see.How do you like the Trenchers, I'm guessing those are 40 series?
I've seen videos of those Trenchers on the Outcast jumping, very beastly and great for backflips. Just ordered more Trencher 2.8s to tape/glue up on F11s. Decided I'm going to Truggify my own Typhon after testing my son's out with Kraton hubs, axels..Etc, really a fun platform dirt and street with wide offset wheels. IMHO Trenchers are a great all around bashing tire, floats right over grass, soaks up lots of rough terrain and harder landings. Those are 40 series, and I love them! Also - that's my Senton with a Ford Raptor SCT body next to it. With the old/huge Kraton bumper on the front
Do the Kraton stubs help a 2.8 wheel fit? I was all excited to take my several 2.8's and throw them on the Typhon until "dang - doesn't fit!"I've seen videos of those Trenchers on the Outcast jumping, very beastly and great for backflips. There may be a cheaper way to do it, but after swapping Typhon axels, hubs/steering block, and hex's for Kraton replacements, 2.8s and 3.8s now fit with no rubbing issues front or rear. At least Proline 2.8 F11s don't rub. They did rub with stock Typhon setup as did 3.8 Desperado wheel, would rub lower from part of stock hub.Do the Kraton stubs help a 2.8 wheel fit? Was rubbing on some part of the steering or suspension... Was disappointed.
I have the +2mm axle stubs (or whatever... Bad on my terminology) from Team Durango to try also as an easy option. I would need those to use these ebay badlands knockoffs I got... Haha
Sounds like my potential next project. There may be a cheaper way to do it, but after swapping Typhon axels, hubs/steering block, and hex's for Kraton replacements, 2.8s and 3.8s now fit with no rubbing issues front or rear. Picture is of low profile 2.8 JConcepts GLocs and 3.8 Badlands on 3.8 Desperado.
PS, if you buy off Tower, be careful not to buy version 1 Kraton hex's, don't think they'll line up with V2 axel pin holes. V1 hex's are like 22mm, V2 are 17.6mm, AR310484. Almost f..ked up my 2nd order last night cuz V1 autopopulated on parts search as Kraton hex's.Sounds like my potential next project.

You can certainly stretch or trim to fit, does look cool, I wanted more traditional fit with foams unsquished for a bit more tire cushion with big airs and hard hits. The 3.8 Badlands I taped are awesome on Truggified Typhon, but wanted to also try 2.8 Trenchers when I build my Typhon on F11s, like their offset. Use to bash Trenchers a lot on monster slash, very fun, durable tire for sure.I've seen folks putting 2.8 tires on 3.2 rims as well. Google or go to traxxas forums and you will find them.
I got confirmation that Team Associated hex adapters can work on Typhon. See widening the Senton thread, at work, don't have part number on me.Sounds like my potential next project.
This sounds awesome! Monster typhon and/or Senton is in my future now.I got confirmation that Team Associated hex adapters can work on Typhon. See widening the Senton thread, at work, don't have part number on me.
I apologize mine looks so similar to this! Lol. Blue was all I had around (and a tiny bit of Gunmetal for the stripe...)Hey guys. Took Outcast out for a hard bash today with a few bad landings and brutal high speed roll. Did a number on rear wing, ended up pulling out wing mount screw, then the other leaving me wingless for the rest of 6s dirt bash. Had already thought about replacing stock wing. Ended up replacing with Losi wing, fit perfectly, upgraded to 4mm button head screws, metal washers, and said, what the heck, fitted strong JConcepts Bajr body from monster slash. For those of you who've never run bug body, they tend to roll you back on your wheels so you don't do the walk of shame quite as often. Will lower front mounts a bit tomorrow and give her the old bash test. Anyone else strip wing mounting screws? Turns out the stock ones are pretty short and don't get much bite. Will post vids tomorrow in media. PS try not to land wing first using your wing to shovel the earth!View attachment 4201 View attachment 4202 View attachment 4203

My 4yr old daughter helped me cut out and place stickers yesterday.
Also got orange Tekno springs up front and Green rear. (wish I would have just gone orange all the way around though)
Rember Kyosho Monster Corvette?

These bodies have 13" wheelbase , basically same wheelbase as the Outcast or most 1/8 buggies and are made to fit the GP2 style chassis...
