Arrma RC's
  1. Granite
Almost every time I run my 3S lips something breaks down on my Granite BLX, do others have this same problems or should I work on my driving skills? Things that broke down while running on 3S:
Connection of the motor mount came lose (fixed with longer screws).
Blown tyre.
Diff broke down.
Gear outdrive worn out.

Hi

It's like Traxxas and there E-Revo BL, they say it will run on 6s but they don't say how long you can expect it to last on 6s. The same can be said about the Arrma 1/10th scale RC's, you can run them on 3s but don't expect them to last very long. 2s is the size to go with at least for brushless.

I have had the same experience. I think my Granite could handle 3s if it was in perfect working order. But it's not. 3s exposes any weakness, imbalance or mis-adjustment that 2s is happy operating with.

I have found that I can over gear mine on 2s pretty substantially without heat issues so that is my solution. I am happy at 50mph... for now! ;)
