Either way I think I'll go with the Lockups tires I hear they work on the Senton.

I run Lockups on my Typhon as my basher tire. They are named correctly, for sure, they are LOCKED UP! They will cut trenches in the grass in my front yard... LOL

My only problem is that they come off the rim easy. That is probably more of a 'my glue job sux' rather than the tires fault, though.

Funny I have a Typhon and the Duratrax Lockups(same tires as the Louise RC tires) in my shopping cart on Amain lol. I kind of want a Senton though. I can't decide between the two as I can only get one.
Doesn't it come down to what you are going to do with the RC?
Senton is SC truck, for racing, not a great basher. Typhon is 1:8 scale, is there a track that size near you or is it for bashing?

I would just be running laps around the local homemade rc track.

The Senton is pretty much a 1:8 scale vehicle as it's basically the same vehicle as the Typhon. Also, the Senton doesn't meet any race specifications since almost all SC classes are 2s and the Senton is 4s/6s so it can't really race with the other SC trucks unless you swap over the motor and ESC. I have both the Senton and the Typhon and they are both great bashers. I personally think the Senton is the better basher with the roll cage and the bumpers, but everybody drives/races/bashes differently.

While I would agree the Typhon / Senton are not in the same bashing category as the Kraton / Outcast, they are still great bashers. When I Bash my typhon with my son and his Kraton, I can't run thru the un-mowed park grass like he can, and the Kraton does better on the really rough stuff, but still, my typhon is a lot of fun to just bash around. However, I am strongly considering doing the 'wide mod' so I can run 2.8 MT tires on my Typhon... That should take away most of the Kraton's advantage.

Early present from my wife!

So my wife tried to purchase the blue bird BLS H50B last friday. Notified last night it was out of stock. Gotta love these places that give these notifications after 4 days. Either way it work out for the better. Concidering she still wanted to get me a servo. I decided for an upgrade but couldnt find it until I remembered DDM. Use to order a lot from them for 5th scale parts and sure enough they had it. The Ferrari of servos!

I keep telling myself that I won't spend anymore money on rc stuff for a while, but I have a full shopping cart on ebay, amain, Tower Hobbies, JRC, nitrorcx, Horizon Hobbies, Holmes Hobbies and rcmart.

Tekno MtT410 in stock at Tower and soon to be on the way. Picking and packing.

Robinson Racing pinion, replacement shock shafts, and some diff fluid. Got tired of shredding stock pinions lol. As for the shock shaft it’s been needing replaced for a while now. Bent it straight the best I could but every time I land a big jump it sticks but not no more lol. Diff fluid is for maintenance lol.
