How much did u get for your Kraton ???

£420 for the base car with shimmed diffs, VH servo mount, Tekno shocks.

£130 for the chassis mounts, wheelie bar, outcast battery tray and batteries.

Think I did ok :)

I was talking about the stock v2 shocks not the entire trucks!
I was talking about the entire truck as I'm sure that @Piecejointe was talking about as well since the thread is about the V3 truck and not the shock. But yes I won't be wasting my money on the v2 shocks, if I have a shock failure but I would habe no problem buying a discounted V2 car!!

Wonder if the truck is just updated, or a different platform? If the only difference is a couple plastic parts(outside of tires and body) shouldnt be too expensive to upgrade it. If the new parts don't line up and need most of the v3 parts, then it would be better to wait for v3

Platform (chassis) I bet has not changed. But lots of the internal plastics have. Once the kit breakers get stock of these, you should be able to get a 'kit' of all the new pieces for (hopefully) $50-$75. Probably higher right at first, just because of demand.

This was the case when the Outcast dropped. Now you can get the Outcast 'upgraded' plastics for about $25.

Spot on !! Once the chop shops get on to them
It'll be happy days. Hopefully!!

Wish i knew if everything is compatible then i could order a v2. On the fence now

I'm pretty sure it will be. Arrma won't redesign the whole vehicle it will be an incremental upgrade like the V1-V2 was. It sounds like the upgrades are slightly redesigned/Outcast plastic parts, shocks with bigger shock shafts (biggest change IMO) and likely an updated body paint scheme and different tires/wheels.

Re: shock prices...

New Arrma Kraton shocks (old 3.5mm shaft) NIB- $85 a pair.
Same, from Ebay chop shop - $25-$30

New Tekno Full Option truggy shocks NIB - $95
Same from chop shop - $45

So what will the new shocks cost? NIB, who cares, but at the chop shop it is all supply vs demand. I am betting they will be within $10 a pair of the Tekno's, at least for the first 6-12 months.

The "full option" Tekno shocks are expensive. The chop shop variety from Tekno kits have more complete parts, and are cheaper, but are not quite as good. I'm fully happy with the kit version though. F+R kit version and required standoffs will run about $100 to upgrade a truck.

I'm wondering what they refer to as the "stronger bulkheads"
